I have worked for 30 years as a freelance graphic designer and a writer (a great way to raise my three children). As my kids became adults, I started taking a number of visual arts classes: mixed media, collage, paper making, etc. When my husband and I bought a house on the Shenandoah River, I took the opportunity to dive in and fill the walls with my work. I'm now spending more time on my art than almost anything else...with the exception of my one-year-old grandson.
